  • Root sensitivity treatment

Parodontitis and gingivitis are parodontal diseases of jaws and gums. Parodontology is the branch of dentistry that deals with parodontal disease and respective treatment. The treatment itself depends on the gravity of the disease and it includes the elimination of the infection by removing soft and hard dental calculus and the inflamed tissue which is formed between the tooth and the gingiva (parodontal pockets). In cases of major jaw bone loss, surgical interventions are applied, during which the lost bone is replaced with synthetic material.

Regardless of the possibilities of modern dentistry, it is necessary for the patient to do regular check-ups, in order to detect the slightest changes, thus achieve the best result.
